Event Series: IMSA Race Series
2008 marked the 60th Anniversary of the first race that ran the streets of Watkins Glen. Over the years the length of the course has changed, but in 2007 the course was made a permanent 3.4-mile road course. This course has seen legends like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Sam Hornish Jr race battle it out. What started as a dream to bring European style competition has grown into a massive endeavor worthy of the prestige it’s history brings.

Home to the Detroit Grand Prix from 1992-2001, this 982-acre island in the Detroit River can house 100,000 guests as they watch this year’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. This course has been home to numerous races over the decades. This year will be no exception as fans will have plenty to do between races! Everything from the fun and games in the Meijer Fan Zone, to a car enthusiasts dream in the car corral, to live autograph signings with your favorite driver!

A comprehensive motorsports facility in Lexington, Ohio, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course sits on 330 acres and features a permanent road-racing circuit with two primary track configurations: 2.4-mile, 15-turn or 2.258-mile, 13-turn layout. Commonly referred to as the “Most Competitive in the U.S.”, this course annually hosts a diversity of locally, regionally, and nationally sanctioned race events for every level of driver.
